Premier Technical Services Group Ltd (PTSG), through its specialist fire division Neo, has been appointed to deliver a series of passive fire safety projects for an award-winning care home operator providing dementia, residential, nursing and respite care across the UK.
The care homes, located primarily across the North of England and the East Midlands, include facilities in major cities such as Sunderland, Liverpool and Leeds, as well as smaller communities including Chesterfield and Grimsby.
Under the contract, Neo engineers will carry out passive fire remedial works at five care homes. The projects are being delivered in live environments, requiring careful planning to minimise disruption and ensure the continued safety and comfort of residents. Close coordination with care staff and adherence to safeguarding protocols are key to maintaining high operational standards during the works.
Neo’s expertise in fire doors, compartmentation and passive fire systems enables the team to identify and address risks highlighted in fire risk assessments.
Quality assurance is provided through FIRAS and LPCB-accredited inspections, with all works supported by detailed digital reporting to evidence compliance and update each site’s fire risk management plan.
