CEFEP, the European Association of flexible elastomeric foam (FEF) and polyethylene foam (PEF) insulation manufacturers, has launched its new website, www.cefep.eu, further strengthening its digital communication and information offering for the Building & Construction sector.
Founded in 2012 and registered as an association under Austrian law since 2019, CEFEP represents Europe’s leading manufacturers of FEF and PEF insulation materials, including Armacell, Kaimann GmbH, NMC sa, Steinbacher Dämmstoff GmbH and UNION FOAM S.P.A..
As a pan-European trade association, CEFEP promotes the technical and environmental benefits of closed-cell flexible insulation. Its mission is to advance energy efficiency and support sustainable building practices through technical information, aligned positions, and industry collaboration. To this end, CEFEP develops and publishes technical statements that promote best practices in the insulation of pipework, ducting and technical installations.
The new CEFEP website provides structured access to information on FEF and PEF insulation, application areas, the association’s objectives and ongoing initiatives, as well as technical guidance relevant to planners, specifiers and other stakeholders. In addition, the platform serves as a gateway to CEFEP’s communication channels, including its e-mail newsletter and LinkedIn presence.
CEFEP chair Elke Rieß commented: “With the launch of the new CEFEP website, we have created a central digital reference point for flexible technical insulation in Europe. The platform improves access to technical expertise and shared guidance, supporting energy-efficient and sustainable solutions across the industry.”
