Facilities management service provider OCS has been awarded a place on the Crown Commercial Service (CCS) framework for RM6331 Healthcare Soft Facilities Management Services.
The company stated that the deal has further strengthened its position in the public sector for its FM offering to the healthcare industry.
This supports its ambitious plans announced earlier this month; to become one of the leading forces in the FM market, bolstered by its commitment to deliver integrated, high-quality facility management solutions.
The new deal includes the provision of cleaning, catering and bundled soft FM services and whilst the company has a large footprint in the healthcare industry, the framework has helped reinforce its position, as it will be competing for call-off contracts amongst other major FM providers.
In addition to its services, the company’s commitment to social value and sustainability has also been recognised within the framework, with the CCS evaluation panel highlighting the following areas as rationale for its decision:

- Audits to control environmental impact
- Education and awareness campaigns around environmental improvement

- Modern slavery risk management and commitment to the Ethical Trading Initiative
