On 1 April 2025, Andreas Neukam will assume the role of Chief Operating Officer of the FM International business unit at Apleona, a European market leader in integrated facility management based in Neu-Isenburg near Frankfurt (Main). He succeeds James Thoden van Velzen, who will be responsible for special projects in the international business.
Andreas Neukam will be responsible for the operations of Apleona’s 33 national businesses in the EMEA region (Europe, Middle East, Africa). He will report directly to Michael Engel, COO of Apleona Group and responsible for the FM International business unit. Together with Michael Engel and Apleona’s regional and country managers, Andreas Neukam will focus on the further development of the international business in terms of operational excellence and continued business growth.
James Thoden van Velzen (56) has held various management positions at Apleona FM International for many years, including Regional Head for Northern Europe and COO. At his own request, he will continue to advise the FM International management team on special projects. Michael Engel thanks James Thoden van Velzen for his many years of responsible service and for his willingness to be available in an advisory capacity.
