The Government is putting new measures in place to force the industry to pay to remove cladding.

The proposals will see the industry pay to fix historical problems to enforce a common-sense approach and ensure leaseholders are not out of pocket.

In catering, Lexington has become the sole provider for BTโ€™s ยฃ15 million workplace catering.

It will provide services for BTโ€™s 56 sites across the UK, as well as selected Openreach sites.

Sodexo has also announced it has partnered with the British Nutrition Foundation to improve the health and wellbeing of children and young people.

The partnership was formed after research from Sodexo identified that nutrition education was a priority for its education clients.


In contracts, ISS has renewed an existing contract with a global pharmaceutical company. The new contract, which involves FM services to offices, plasma donation centres and manufacturing sites, will run for five years until April 2027.

PTSG has also been contracted to deliver a new lightning protection system at Kingโ€™s Cross.

One of the largest regeneration projects in the UK, Kingโ€™s Cross is benefitting from added protection from one of the oldest trading provider of lightning protection services in the UK.


And lastly, Guinness maker Diageo has announced the redevelopment of Old Brewerโ€™s Yard in Covent Garden to become a ยฃ73million microbrewery and culture hub.

The plans will create up to 150 new jobs and provide a new community space in the area, as well as a Life Bartending and Hospitality Programme.
