ISS’s Healthcare business has received a distinction in the International Safety Awards from the British Safety Council for protecting its employees from the risk of injury and ill health at work.

This award was given in recognition of ISS’s commitment to keeping its 9,500+ healthcare workers and many workplaces healthy and safe during 2021. This is a huge achievement for the business that services more than 40 client organisations, particularly after the extraordinary demand placed on healthcare and support required by the NHS during the COVID-19 pandemic.

The International Safety Awards recognise and celebrate organisations from around the world which have demonstrated to the satisfaction of the scheme’s independent judges their commitment to preventing workplace injuries and work-related ill health during the previous calendar year. The awards also acknowledge organisations that have shown commitment to wellbeing and mental health at work.

Safety will continue to be the top priority across our whole business, and we are committed to continuous improvement in this area.”
