JLL’s City Office Agency team ranked number one

JLL’s City office agency team ranked as number one in EG’s annual agency leaderboard; the team transacted over 2.652m sq ft of space across the City in 2021.

JLL was also named both the Most Active Disposal Agent and the Most Active Acquisition Agent in the City of London office leasing market in the 2022 CoStar awards. JLL’s City office agency team was responsible for 32% of disposals and 19% of acquisitions in the market.

JLL acted for a number of prestigious clients on notable transactions throughout the year including seven new lettings on behalf of AXA IM Alts at 22 Bishopsgate including law firm Skadden and US investment bank William Blair and the acquisition of an additional 50,000 sq ft for US lawyers White & Case who now occupy the whole of 5 Old Broad Street.

The City team also secured a pre-let of 121,000 sq ft to communications giant, Inmarsat at GPE’s 50 Finsbury Square; let 115,000 sq ft to Mondrian Investment Partners Ltd, AllianceBernstein and Interxion on behalf of CalSTRS and LaSalle Investment Management at 60 London Wall and secured asset manager T Rowe Price’s new UK headquarters at Warwick Court.

JLL acted on numerous transactions on the Broadgate campus including the disposal of 254,000 sq ft to Allen & Overy at British Land/GIC’s 1 Broadgate. The team was also responsible for acquiring Kaleidoscope in Farringdon on behalf of Tik Tok.
