Wates Smartspace secures major contract with MoJ

Wates Smartspace has been appointed to deliver a major contract for the Ministry of Justice (MoJ) to fit-out and refurbish 12 probation offices across England.

Valued at up to £10m, the two year contract includes a national office fit out and refurbishment of offices across London and the South regions. Wates Smartspace secured the contract as part of a major programme by the MoJ to modernise the estates being used by the Probation Service in England and Wales.

Wates Smartspace has a long-standing relationship with the MoJ and has delivered several projects, including most recently, a major contract to upgrade 21 courts in order to maintain operations throughout and beyond the Covid pandemic.

Wates Smartspace works across a number of sectors, including banking, retail, developers, pharmaceutical, healthcare, broadcasters, and owners and occupiers of commercial offices and public sector organisations. Project values range from £20,000 to £25m.
