The first of JLL’s 2022 graduates have joined the UK business, including four graduates to the newly launched sustainability programme: Destiny Fakayode, Lara Flannery, Raj Suresh and Dora Thorne.
They will join JLL’s Upstream sustainability consulting team from a wide range of degree disciplines to support the net zero carbon, energy efficiency, social impact and natural capital ambitions of JLL’s clients. Over the 18 months of the programme, sustainability graduates will develop skills and knowledge to drive transformational change and deliver global impact.
Commenting on the programme, Emma Hoskyn, UK Head of Sustainability, said: “A very big welcome to Destiny, Dora, Lara and Raj to JLL as our first sustainability graduates. There has been a great deal of interest in the programme. The standard of applications was very high and we are proud to have been able to bring this exceptional new talent into our sustainability teams.
“This is the first stage of a considerable investment by JLL into nurturing future real estate sustainability leaders, supporting our real estate’s ambitions for a just transition to a low carbon economy.”
Up to 25 sustainability graduates will join JLL in 2022 across a range of disciplines including:
· Net zero carbon design including thermal modelling, MEP systems and embodied carbon.
· ESG and net zero strategy, reporting and communication
· Energy performance optimisation
· Climate risk reporting
· Sustainability certification, data reporting and assurance
· Social impact strategy and reporting
Applications to join JLL’s sustainability graduate scheme in September are being accepted now, including energy engineering positions within the Net Zero Design Consulting team.
