Cleaning services provider MagicCote Cleaning UK is delighted to announce that it has secured a significant window cleaning contract in Glasgow with Sodexo.
MagicCote has more than 80 years of established business in supporting commercial properties with cleaning services. Over this type, it has continued to invest in its people and technology to provide a service that goes beyond the call of duty and focuses on its environmental impact.
Adam Carrison, Managing Director for MagicCote Cleaning UK, said: “We are delighted to be working with Sodexo as part of this service provision. Over the last few years, we have invested a lot into our people and equipment to make sure that we matching our clients’ values of getting the job done right first time, whilst effectively communicating and considering the environment.
“Our pure water solutions and the technology we have mean that we can reduce the amount of water we use, as well as the chemicals that we need to use to ensure cleanliness throughout.
“We have also invested in systems which eliminate the use of MEWPs and spider access equipment when working indoors. Through this, we are able to reduce any potential impact of building use while we are cleaning.”
MagicCote continues to invest in further ways to reduce its environmental impact, including the complete digitalisation of its business by 2024 and the introduction of an electric fleet to service its client across the UK.
Adam continued: “Within cleaning services, we have a duty to reduce our environmental impact entirely. While some chemicals have to be used, we look to use chemicals that do not harm the environment, while also introducing new ways of working that even reduce the carbon emissions while travelling to site.
“Ultimately, while this benefits the environment, it demonstrates that we have our clients’ values in mind, and we’re ready to support them beyond our service provision.”
