ISS makes the shortlist for the Diversity and Inclusion Initiative Award at the BESA National Awards 2022

ISS had made the shortlist for the Diversity and Inclusion Initiative Award at the BESA National Awards 2022.

The awards recognise businesses with forward-thinking approaches to delivery, compliance, diversity and sustainability. Hosted by the Building Engineering Services Association (BESA), an industry body specialising in perfecting the standards of the building services sector, these awards further demonstrate its commitment to a progressive and inclusive workforce.

The awards ceremony is scheduled for the 20th of October at the Novotel London West.

The successful shortlisting arrives just 4 months after Kat Parson’s Menopause Awareness Project won the RoSPA Initiative of the Year Award, and 8 months after the project won the ‘Highly Commended’ status at the SHP Trailblazer Awards. Kat’s unique, forward-thinking approach to the subject has captured the industry’s imagination and has been a major contributor to several recent diversity and inclusivity award nominations.

With a record-breaking number of entrants this year, ISS is delighted to once again be recognised as a progressive employer. To the team, ISS is where social identity – age, cultural background, gender – and professional identity go hand in hand, creating an environment where the diversity of people is respected, connected, and contributing to success.
