Parr FM Ltd grows relationship with BOC Gases with partnerships throughout Ireland

Since February 2019, Parr Facilities Management Ltd has been working alongside the team at BOC Gases to deliver planned and reactive maintenance at their Belfast facility.

The tailored FM package for BOC includes an on-site handyman who is there to ensure the site is functional at all times. This was particularly important during the Covid-19 crisis, where BOC was relied upon to provide NHS hospitals with oxygen and other gases required. BOC supplies industrial gases for a vast range of industries and processes, including the healthcare, welding, and automotive sectors.

In addition, compliance works have also been carried out at the Belfast site including air conditioning servicing, a waste management service and boiler maintenance. The Parr FM team also provides a highly efficient gritting service which is automatically prompted when the temperature drops below 3 degrees Celsius.

Over recent months Parr FM Ltd has had the opportunity to develop the relationship with BOC Gases further by successfully tendering to oversee a range of FM tasks for a number of BOC sites located across Ireland. Some of the works which have been delivered at these sites include; the demolition of a lean to structure, asbestos roof replacement, outdoor landscaping, security installations and a large scale canteen refurbishment.

Speaking on behalf of Parr FM, Stephen Jackson, Ireland Operations Manager said, “We have enjoyed a great working relationship with BOC for the last year and half and look forward to continuing and developing this relationship. All work across these BOC sites have been completed on time and within budget which is testament to the hard work of the Parr FM team.”

Parr Facilities Management Ltd has had an estimated 60% increase in its workforce over the past year to support a number of big business wins within our FM division including contracts with Co-op, BUPA and Whitbread. These contracts have contributed to a quadrupled turnover within this period of growth.
