Richard Sykes has joined ABM as SVP and President, UK and Ireland. Richard is a strong leader with a proven track record for accelerating growth for global operations, building effective teams and driving transformation across large, multi-billion-dollar businesses.
As ABM continues its efforts to elevate the client and team member experiences, the company is focused on strengthening its organisation to accelerate growth while creating greater connectivity, collaboration and partnership across its operations and functional teams.
In this role, Richard will lead ABM’s European business and develop the company’s growth strategy to drive profitability and build upon its capabilities through new services and segments, cross-selling and inorganic growth.
Richard is a dynamic, growth-minded leader with extensive experience leading global operations, Merger & Acquisition transactions and cultural integration in highly competitive, low-margin industries. Most notably, Richard served as regional CEO at ISS in various capacities over the last decade, where he led a multi-billion-dollar book of business, drove strategic transformation, and built strong leadership teams that increased client and team member retention and satisfaction.

Richard’s leadership will strengthen how the company operates, add capabilities and offerings, build its client base, and help drive growth which, in turn, creates greater opportunities for ABM team members at every level.
