The Great Property Bike Ride, hosted by CBRE, welcomed almost 600 cyclists from across the property industry to Sandown Park Racecourse, Surrey, to raise money for Macmillan Cancer Support.
Delegates from more than 250 companies participated in their chosen distance of 40km, 70km, or 122km, with the latter taking on the challenging summit of Box Hill.
The event attracted dozens of sponsors, including platinum sponsor, Greenberg Traurig, gold sponsors Trammell Crow Company, and CC Cousins, and was supported by media partner React News.
Sean Gray, General Counsel at Trammell Crow Company, said: “Our Trammell Crow team thoroughly enjoyed our participation in and sponsorship of the CBRE 2023 Great Property Bike Ride. It was an exceptionally hot, hilly but scenic ride, and the incredible organisation by the CBRE team allowed everyone to complete their impressive rides safely to raise funds for Macmillan Cancer Support. We look forward to being involved again next year!”
David Saunders, Director, CC Cousins, added: “What a great day we had at The Great Property Bike Ride with beautiful weather. It was fantastic to see so many riders out having fun for charity, and we were proud to sponsor this event.”

Ciaran Bird, Divisional President, Advisory Services, CEO UK & Ireland, said: “After a four-year hiatus because of the pandemic, we are so grateful to all the cyclists who braved the 30-degree heat for a fantastic cause, and who were so generous in their donations to our charity partner. There are a number of cycling events across the industry, but this event is incredibly popular because it caters for all different levels of experience. I’m looking forward to an even bigger and better event next year with our clients, colleagues, and industry peers.”
