JLL, a leading professional services firm specialising in real estate and investment management, has announced that the 15th annual JLL Property Triathlon and Property Swim that took place on Friday 1st July raised over £179,000 for its new charity partner WWF.
Last week more than 3,500 competitors from across the real estate industry returned to Dorney Lake in Berkshire to undertake individual and team challenges at the JLL Property Triathlon and Property Swim last week.
The event succeeded on raising an incredible amount of money, over £170,000, JLL’s new charity partner WWF.
Since its inaugural event in 2007 the JLL Property Triathlon, has brought people across the industry together and has raised over £2m for charity.
Stephanie Hyde, chief executive JLL UK, said: “It was fantastic to see the real estate community turn out in force for this brilliant event. This year we welcomed over 3,500 participants who got to experience the joy of competing at Dorney Lake. The great things that characterise our industry were on show – the commitment, sportsmanship and collaboration – along with some good-natured competitiveness. The event also enabled us to present our new charity partner WWF with a cheque for over £179,000 – I’d like to thank all of those involved for their generosity and I am already looking forward to next year’s event.”
