Wates has been appointed by Yorkshire Building Society (YBS) to deliver a range of facilities management (FM) services across its UK-wide estate.
Worth around £7m over five years, the contract includes hard FM and compliance services across the YBS property portfolio.
Beginning in August, the contract includes FM services at 110 YBS branches; 120 agency sites; the building society’s Bradford headquarters; three main offices in Leeds, Peterborough and Huddersfield; and its Yorkshire data centre.
This is the first time the company has worked for YBS and significantly grows the group’s project pipeline in the banking sector, which is worth over £50m a year.
The contract will be managed by a dedicated team of nine, supported by a national mobile team alongside key supply chain members.
