As a company at the forefront of the technical services industry, FES Group wants to develop engineers of the future and believes that starts with the recruitment and selection of the best apprentices. It has announced the arrival of this year’s intake of apprentices, with the appointment of 73 new trainees across the FES Group of companies. Apprenticeships have been created across a range of building services trades, including:
- Electricians
- Heating Engineers
- Joiners
- Fire and Security Engineers
- Plumbers
- Data and Communications Technicians
- Facilities Management
Through these apprenticeships, students are given the opportunity to earn while they learn. FES Group has hands-on industry experience alongside college or university studies which results in a formal recognised qualification. The company’s programme is structured so that trainees are supported by its highly experienced site teams and will be mentored throughout their training. This includes a purpose-built Training Academy, providing additional learning opportunities, in a controlled environment, and support from the group’s dedicated in-house Training Manager.
An apprenticeship position with the FES Group sets you on a career path that can take you as far as you want to go. As a family run business with an ethos of investing in its teams and promoting from within, several members of the group’s senior management teams started their own careers with FES as apprentices.
