Hard services provider Ergro has announced it is mobilising its team to complete an air-conditioning chiller replacement for longstanding client City University London.
This will take place at the university’s Northampton Square campus, within the Tait Building, where it will install a new Daikin EWAH780 767kW inverter screw chiller.
The team will remove the previous model before installing the new chiller to take its place on the roof of the building.
Included in the contract is the removal of the existing acoustic enclosure, disconnection and removal of the old model, after which the new chiller will be lifted, installed and commissioned.
Dating back to the 1960s, the Tait Building is well known within London’s Clerkenwell area and offers a variety of flexible learning, study areas and meeting rooms.
Ergro will complete the removal of the old model and installation of the new Daikin chiller in January, ensuring that road closures, bus diversions and crane life permits are timed to avoid delays and minimise public disruption.
