Premier Technical Services Group Ltd (PTSG) has secured a contract to deliver a wide range of specialist services for a new Wickes store in Aberdeen.
Wickes is a home improvement retailer and garden centre, with more than 230 stores throughout the UK. Its main business is the sale of supplies and materials for homeowners and the building trade. It is listed on the London Stock Exchange.
The mission of Wickes is to be the partner of choice for home improvers and local trade. As of 2023, Wickes had 750,000 TradePro members.
In this contract, engineers from PTSG will deliver the following specialist services to the new retail warehouse in the Westhill area of Aberdeen:
- a mansafe system to enable safe access to the roof
- a new lightning protection system
- dry risers, which will help the fire brigade to connect to put out a fire, if the need arises
