FASET celebrates maintaining UKAS accreditation

FASET (Fall Arrest Safety Equipment Training), the leading trade association for collective fall protection systems, has achieved a significant milestone by successfully maintaining its UKAS (United Kingdom Accreditation Service) Accreditation status against the ISO 17020 standard.

In October 2023, FASET became accredited as a Type C inspection body in accordance with International Standard ISO 17020, making it the only trade association in the UK to achieve this UKAS standard within the SSIP member scheme.

ISO 17020, establishes a framework for inspection bodies to demonstrate their technical competence, independence and capacity to provide reliable inspection services.
