Tilbury Douglas set to lead the Trowbridge Integrated Care Centre scheme

Tilbury Douglas, a leading UK building, infrastructure, engineering, and fit-out business, is set to lead the development of the £16m Trowbridge Integrated Care Centre, located opposite the town’s current community hospital.

Set to replace the town’s community hospital, the new facility, expected to be completed at the end of 2025, will provide local people with an additional primary care service, more same-day urgent care provision, and space to support mobile diagnostic units.

The building is being developed by NHS Property Services and funded by NHS England, the Department of Health and Social Care, NHS Bath and North East Somerset, Swindon and Wiltshire Integrated Care Board, and Wiltshire Council.

Paul Gale, Regional Director – South West at Tilbury Douglas, said: “We are pleased that this important scheme has been given the go ahead and we can set to work delivering a state-of-the art medical facility that will serve the community for the long-term.”

Relocating services from the current Trowbridge Community Hospital to the new site will be phased as part of a planned relocation process.
