Mears Group is pleased to announce its reappointment as the repairs and maintenance contractor for Govanhill Housing Association, responsible for the upkeep of approximately 3,000 properties.
The new contract, valued at £2 million per annum, spans an initial term of five years, with an option for a further five-year extension.
The contract covers a wide range of services, including reactive repairs, voids, medical adaptations and facilities – such as painting, and small-scale improvement works, including lighting, in communal areas.
As part of the ongoing commitment to supporting the local community, Mears Group is also in the process of appointing two trade apprentices – one joiner and one plumber – who will be selected from the Govanhill area.
