Technology-led, people-driven Facilities Management company Arcus FM has once again been recognised for outstanding health and safety performance, achieving the internationally respected RoSPA Gold Award for the fourth consecutive year – and this year has added Gold in Fleet Safety to its list of accolades. |
This consistent recognition reflects Arcus’s unwavering commitment to occupational health and safety, embedding a culture that meets and goes beyond compliance. The Gold Award represents the highest standard of health and safety excellence, and to achieve it year after year demonstrates the strength of Arcus’ safety-first approach across both its own and customers’ estates. In addition to its continued success in occupational health and safety, Arcus FM has also been awarded its first RoSPA Gold Award for Fleet Safety, improving on last year’s Silver. With one of the largest mobile engineering fleets in the FM sector, this award marks a significant milestone, especially in a year where the business added 50 new electric vehicles to its fleet, with further orders already placed to support its sustainability and safety ambitions. Julia Small, RoSPA’s Growth Director, said: “Arcus should be proud of the hard work and commitment to keeping people safe that has resulted in a RoSPA Award, which honours those organisations who have achieved the highest standards in health and safety in the workplace. “RoSPA regards Arcus FM as a strong example of the importance of making accident prevention central to any successful organisation, not just for the benefit of employees, customers and clients, but also society as a whole.’ |
Commenting on the awards, Vicky Downham, HSQE Director at Arcus FM, said: “At Arcus, getting our people home safely every day is a non-negotiable, and we know that maintaining high standards across thousands of customer sites and hundreds of vehicles takes consistent effort. “To secure RoSPA Gold for a fourth year in Health and Safety, and our first-ever Gold in Fleet Safety, is a proud moment for the entire business. It shows that as we grow, we’re not only protecting but raising the standards we hold ourselves to. “Huge thanks go to our HSQE and Fleet teams, and to every colleague across the business who champions our safety culture.” |
