The work was carried out by specialists from PTSG Electrical Services Ltd, who were tasked with designing, testing and installing an earth electrode system for a new substation at the site. The project required a swift turnaround to meet client timelines—something PTSG delivered with precision.
Engineers were deployed within days to conduct on-site soil resistivity surveys, feeding real-time data back to the company’s in-house design team. The complete design study, including AutoCAD layout drawings, was finalised and issued within just five days—ensuring seamless progression to the installation phase.
Located at Cornwall Airport Newquay, Spaceport Cornwall is a strategic hub for the UK’s space industry, offering dedicated launch facilities for small satellites. The site is at the heart of a rapidly growing sector that champions responsible access to space, innovation, and sustainability.
