Premier Technical Services Group Ltd (PTSG) has secured a contract to deliver specialist fire safety services at the historic Horlicks Factory development in Slough.
Known as Horlicks Quarter, the site is a distinctive residential development comprising apartments, penthouses, and houses, complemented by an on-site nursery, café, co-working hub, concierge service, gym, residents’ lounge, cinema room, and rooftop terrace. Located just four miles from Windsor and 22 miles from London, the development combines heritage architecture with modern living amenities.
Originally built in 1908 and designed by the Horlicks company’s engineer A.G. Christiansen, the factory was a landmark in its time, reflecting the company’s American roots with its design inspired by the Racine factory in the USA.
PTSG has a long-standing relationship with the Horlicks Factory, having first been commissioned to provide specialist services at the site five years ago. The Group’s Fire Solutions division will now begin the next phase of work, which involves the mechanical installation of commercial sprinklers, residential sprinklers, and dry risers in Block J.
