A team from JW Gray, part of Premier Technical Services Group Ltd (PTSG), has taken their commitment to the community one step further by volunteering their time at Lampton Park Community Garden in Hounslow. Known for their expertise in lightning protection, the team swapped technical equipment for gardening tools to support a local biodiversity initiative.
On Saturday, May 10, JW Gray’s Director Danial Herron, alongside Lightning Protection Estimators Andrew Webb and Nick Parsons, dedicated their time to build a ‘bug hotel’—a structure designed to encourage local wildlife and support ecosystem health. This initiative is part of their ongoing lightning protection project at the park.
The Lampton Park Community Garden, managed by the London Borough of Hounslow Council and the Lampton Services Countryside team, offers a range of volunteer opportunities aimed at enhancing local green spaces. These activities include litter picking, tree planting, habitat surveying, and more.
Launched in Spring 2024, the community garden is a space where volunteers can learn new skills, connect with like-minded individuals, and cultivate a sense of pride and ownership in a cherished public space.
PTSG’s involvement in the garden project reflects their broader commitment to sustainability and community engagement. The company continues to lead by example, demonstrating how industry specialists can positively impact the environment and the communities they serve.
