Electrical Compliance and Safety Limited (ECS), part of Premier Technical Services Group Ltd (PTSG), has launched a new website showcasing the company’s comprehensive electrical compliance services to housing providers, councils and businesses across the UK.
The launch highlights ECS’s remarkable growth since its establishment in Corby in 2015. The company has completed over 200,000 Electrical Installation Condition Reports (EICRs) and developed bespoke compliance management software that eliminates the need for multiple contractors and Independent Competent Advisors.
“ECS has built its reputation on making electrical compliance straightforward,” explains Mick Hall, Business Development Manager at ECS. “Our technology-driven approach combined with our team of over 60 qualified engineers working nationwide from offices in Corby, Nottingham and Manchester means we can deliver consistent, high-quality service wherever our clients need us.”
“What sets ECS apart is our innovative ‘right first time’ approach. We’re proud to have maintained an impressive 98% first-time fix rate – meaning when our engineers identify electrical faults during inspections, they complete repairs during the same visit rather than scheduling a return trip. This efficiency has proven particularly valuable to social housing providers managing large property portfolios.”
Last year alone, ECS completed 25,000 EICRs, with 91% of inspected properties requiring remedial work that was completed during the initial inspection. The remaining 2% of repairs were resolved within just four days.
The company’s success is evident in contracts with clients like Citizen Housing, where an initial agreement for 800 homes expanded to over 4,000 properties based on exceptional service delivery. This growth required increasing the dedicated team from 2 to 16 full-time engineers while maintaining consistent quality standards.
ECS’s bespoke Asset Reporting and Compliance Hub (ARC Hub) provides clients with real-time visibility of compliance status, automated scheduling and comprehensive documentation management through a single dashboard. Recent integration with The Compliance Workbook has added another layer of external validation to the quality assurance processes.
As building safety regulations continue to evolve, ECS’s combination of technological innovation and practical expertise positions them as leaders in electrical compliance. Their comprehensive service model spans social housing, public sector, healthcare, and commercial properties, making electrical safety management simpler for organisations across multiple sectors.
