Premier Technical Services Group Ltd (PTSG), via its specialist building access company NSS, is currently delivering a comprehensive programme of roofing and testing services for one of the world’s most prestigious automotive brands.
The client, a household name in luxury motoring, has a rich heritage dating back to the early 1900s. Originally involved in the manufacture of aero engines during the First World War, the company has since become synonymous with British engineering excellence. Post-1945, it relocated production to Crewe, where it began building complete vehicles—a tradition that continues to this day.
Technicians from NSS, part of PTSG’s Building Access Specialists division, are undertaking extensive roofing works at one of the manufacturer’s key sites in Pendle, Lancashire. The project involves a full roof refurbishment to deliver a high-performance finish that safeguards the facility for years to come.
Scope of works includes:
- Replacement of rooflights
- Full cleaning of the roof surface to remove deteriorated coatings
- Replacement of all roof fixings
- Ridge replacement
- Cut-edge corrosion treatment
- Complete respray of the roof covering
In addition to these works, NSS teams are also conducting vital testing services on the site’s safety systems, helping to ensure continued compliance and safe access for future maintenance.
