Premier Technical Services Group Ltd (PTSG) has secured a new contract to deliver specialist fire solutions for one of the UK’s leading train operators, providing long-distance services across the West Coast Main Line.
Covering 22 key locations, the three-year agreement will see engineers from PTSG Fire Solutions Ltd carry out planned preventative maintenance on a wide range of fire and security systems. These works will support safety and compliance across the operator’s estate, which includes high-profile sites spanning London, the West Midlands, the North West, North Wales and Scotland.
The rail operator recently modernised its rolling stock with the introduction of 23 new Hitachi A-train units, replacing the former Class 221 Super Voyagers. Maintenance for the new fleet is undertaken at Alstom’s Oxley depot in Wolverhampton, a key location included in the scope of the contract.
