Lucion Secures Place on £94 Million Social Housing Asbestos and Demolition Framework

UK-based hazardous materials specialist Lucion Services has been named as one of 54 contractors appointed to EN:Procure’s Generation 4 Asbestos and Demolition Framework, which is set to deliver £93.75 million worth of asbestos removal and demolition works over the next four years.

The new framework, hosted by EN:Procure, runs until July 2029 and is focused on the safe, compliant, and sustainable delivery of asbestos, demolition, and water hygiene services to social housing providers across the North of England.

As one of the UK’s leading asbestos management firms, Lucion will bring an unmatched technical expertise to the framework, backed by over 220 BOHS-qualified Surveyors and Analysts, representing the largest technical resource of any asbestos consultancy in the UK. Their services are underpinned by UKAS-accredited laboratories, rigorous internal QA processes, and a dedicated operational support team of over 50 administrators.

Max Wright, Business Development Manager and EN:Procure Framework Manager at Lucion, said: “We are delighted to have secured a place on the EN: Procure Generation 4 Framework. This appointment recognises our extensive experience in delivering high-quality asbestos management services to the social housing sector.”

“Our track record in managing large-scale housing programmes, combined with our technical expertise and local presence across the North of England, positions us perfectly to support the framework’s objectives. We look forward to building strong partnerships with housing providers and delivering services that not only ensure safety and compliance but also contribute to the wider community benefits that are so important to both Lucion and EN:Procure.”

Emma Mottram, Director of Operations at EN:Procure, commented: “The asbestos and demolition sector is of huge importance to the construction industry, with projects needing careful planning to protect workers and the public when dealing with this hazardous material that can have serious legal and health-related consequences.”

“We need this pool of highly skilled and trusted operators to be involved in the safe handling of asbestos, in line with UK regulations.”

Lucion’s involvement in the framework reaffirms its leadership position within the asbestos consultancy space and its ongoing contribution to safer, more sustainable housing environments across the UK.
