The new service complements traditional access methods such as scaffolding and MEWPs, offering same-day aerial assessments using 4K imaging and GPS-guided flight paths. This allows engineers to identify potential issues – including water ingress and heat loss – before deploying access equipment, saving time and resources.
Survey data is fed directly into NSS’s maintenance operations, streamlining planning, improving efficiency and cutting unnecessary site visits. Drones are being used to support both planned maintenance and emergency repairs, with real-time data and annotated reports also helping clients with insurance, compliance and strategic decision-making.
Unlike standalone providers, NSS manages every stage of the process in-house, from survey to remediation. Certified pilots operate across the UK, with 24-hour emergency support available.
