Premier Technical Services Group Ltd (PTSG) has begun work in Manchester, where its specialist steeplejacks are reducing the height of a disused brick chimney.
The project is being delivered by Pendrich, part of PTSG Building Access Specialists, in collaboration with one of its longstanding clients.
Pendrich has its roots in traditional steeplejack techniques used to maintain church spires and industrial chimneys. Today, the company is a recognised leader in high-level maintenance, operating worldwide on structures including cooling towers, flare stacks and other complex, non-standard assets.
All Pendrich engineers are accredited by the Association of Technical Lightning & Access Specialists (ATLAS). The trade body, which has represented leading companies in lightning protection and specialist access since 1946, is committed to raising standards of safety, technical excellence and workforce skills across the industry.
