Premier Technical Services Group Ltd (PTSG) has been showcased at the recent Google Cloud Event in London’s Barbican, where its digital transformation journey was highlighted to industry peers.
Philip Paterson CITP MBCS, Head of Cloud & Infrastructure at PTSG, joined speakers from Menzies Aviation and Google Chrome to discuss the adoption of Cameyo for app streaming as part of PTSG’s move to the Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
The programme has already delivered measurable benefits, including savings of over £500,000, a faster and more reliable user experience across the Group, and the ability to scale resources instantly without additional infrastructure investment.
Paterson, who leads PTSG’s cloud and infrastructure team, shared how this transformation is supporting both operational efficiency and customer service. “By embracing cloud-based technology, we’ve created an environment that’s agile, scalable and future-ready,” he said.
The move to GCP is part of PTSG’s wider strategy to modernise legacy systems and deliver data-driven outcomes across its services. Paterson has also been invited to speak at the Google EMEA Conference in Paris in November, further underlining the Group’s role as an early adopter of innovative cloud technologies.
