Premier Technical Services Group Ltd (PTSG) has secured a contract to deliver specialist Access & Safety installations at the world-renowned Royal Dornoch Golf Club in the Scottish Highlands.
The works form part of the club’s prestigious redevelopment, following a national design competition that saw architectural practice Keppie commissioned in 2018 to design a new state-of-the-art clubhouse.
Although Royal Dornoch has yet to host a major professional tournament due to its remote location, its Championship Course continues to receive international recognition – currently ranked second in the world by Golf Digest’s World Top 100.
As part of the contract, engineers from PTSG Access & Safety Ltd, one of PTSG’s five specialist divisions, will install Mansafe systems to the roof of the new clubhouse. These systems provide essential fall protection for operatives carrying out inspection, cleaning and maintenance tasks at height.
Mansafe systems typically feature anchor points, lifelines and traveller devices that connect to the user’s harness, ensuring full compliance with the UK Work at Height Regulations 2005, which mandate robust safety measures for work at height.
