The Association of Electrical & Mechanical Trades (AEMT) is delighted to be returning to the West Midlands on the evening of Thursday 20th November for the staging of its 8th Annual Awards Ceremony. This year’s suite of eight categories has again produced some truly exceptional entries from right across the electro-mechanical arena.
As with previous years, the Judges were particularly impressed with the wide range of quantifiable results providing a clear demonstration of the fine work being carried out by the AEMT community.
The Doubletree by Hilton Hotel in Coventry will once again play host to the presentation dinner, at which professional endeavour, product innovation, project management, skills development, engineering prowess and service delivery will all be acknowledged and celebrated.
Following another comprehensive selection process, which again combined the remote assessment and scoring of each entry with a virtual gathering of the Judging Panel, the AEMT is delighted to announce the following 41 Finalists across the eight award categories:

First class entertainment
To help deliver the 8th staging of this key industry awards ceremony, we are thrilled to have the one and only Kevin Keegan OBE join us for the evening. An incredibly passionate and renowned communicator, Kevin is one of the most recognisable faces in British football. His illustrious playing career includes stints at Liverpool, Hamburg, Southampton, and Newcastle, as well as an iconic tenure with the England national team, where he captained the side for six years before retiring after the 1982 World Cup. As a manager he held the reins at Newcastle, Fulham, Manchester City, and even the England national team. Beyond his playing and managerial career, he is also a highly respected broadcaster. We’re excited to have Kevin with us this year, and we’re sure his insights and passion will add a unique spark to the celebrations.
And for those looking to carry on the party atmosphere, we have the amazing Parachutes, a band that combines impressive voices with a guitar and a drum kit, creating the illusion of a much larger ensemble. With a floor-filling mix of indie, pop, rock, soul, funk and Motown tracks from across the years in their repertoire, they’re experts at keeping guests of all ages dancing late into the night.
