Indepth Services sets out 20% growth plan with Northern expansion

Indepth Services, the commercial kitchen compliance and fire damper specialist within Premier Technical Services Group Ltd (PTSG), has announced plans to target 20% growth in 2026 as it undertakes a major strategic expansion across the North of England.

The company, which has established a strong presence in London and the South, is transitioning to a fully regionalised model to meet rising demand for compliance services within the facilities management sector. Its core service lines – particularly fire damper inspection and maintenance – are now being extended nationwide, supported by two dedicated business development managers covering the North and South respectively.

The move comes at a time of increasing regulatory scrutiny around fire safety and commercial kitchen hygiene, creating greater pressure on FM providers to demonstrate robust, audit-ready compliance across their estates.
Gavin Richards, Sales and Technical Director at Indepth Services, said the strategy is focused on strengthening capability while maintaining the company’s specialist expertise.

“Our growth strategy is built on depth of service and quality of delivery,” he said. “By investing in regional expansion, multi-skilled teams and smarter systems, we’re strengthening our ability to deliver compliance with consistency, responsiveness and real value to clients across the UK. It’s about building a business that can scale without losing our specialist edge.”

Richards highlighted the development of multi-skilled commercial teams as a key pillar of the plan, helping to build resilience and flexibility in delivery.

“Rather than simply increasing headcount, we’re focusing on cross-training our business development managers to create a more adaptable, responsive team,” he added. “This ensures we can support clients more effectively, wherever the demand emerges.”

As part of its 2026 roadmap, Indepth will also introduce new quotation and documentation software designed to streamline workflow and enhance the quality of client reporting.

A further priority is closer collaboration with other companies within PTSG, including the group’s newest addition, System Hygienics, enabling the delivery of integrated solutions across fire, electrical and specialist compliance services.

Indepth’s expansion reflects a broader shift within the FM industry, where customers are increasingly seeking multi-discipline service partners capable of managing complex, portfolio-wide compliance requirements.
