Premier Technical Services Group Ltd (PTSG) has secured a contract to provide specialist electrical services for Skanska UK at Botanic Place, a flagship sustainable workspace in the heart of Cambridge.
Skanska is responsible for the construction and mechanical and electrical fit-out of the two-building development, which will deliver 333,000 sq ft of Grade A office space. Botanic Place is designed to achieve some of the highest environmental and operational standards in the UK, targeting BREEAM Outstanding, WELL Platinum, and WiredScore Platinum ratings.
Beyond its sustainability credentials, the project places a strong focus on social value, with Skanska set to deliver local employment opportunities, skills training and community engagement initiatives throughout the construction phase.
As part of this landmark scheme, engineers from PTSG’s Lightning Protection Installations Division will install site-wide earthing and lightning protection systems, ensuring the highest standards of safety and compliance.
