Spectrum Service Solutions experienced an extremely busy summer in Aberdeen, marked by significant team expansion and increased service provision across the region. Highlights included supporting major public events, such as the Tall Ships Races in July, and successfully onboarding multiple new commercial cleaning clients.
The company has substantially expanded its client portfolio with the addition of thirteen new sites in and around Aberdeen over the summer months.
The successful expansion was driven by a long-established relationship with property management and investment leader, CBRE. Spectrum has been commissioned to manage some of the prime properties CBRE oversees in the North of Scotland.
Integrating new clients is a detailed process that requires quickly familiarizing teams with the premises, the full range of required services, and the unique needs of each client’s people and reporting structures. The final step involves appointing the right personnel, from cleaning operatives up to managers and area managers, to ensure effective oversight.
Key Client Additions
The additions to Spectrum’s growing list of North East clients focus heavily on the energy sector and include:
- Nine sites for Halliburton, one of the world’s largest providers of energy products and services.
- One site for Aker Solutions, which delivers integrated solutions to the global energy industry.
- One site at Enovate Systems, specializing in solutions for the well-completion and intervention sector.
- One site for Chevron, the global energy company with a long-established presence in the North Sea.
- One site for the North East Scotland Pension Fund (NESPF), administrators of Scotland’s third-largest Local Government Pension Scheme.
On each of the thirteen new sites, Spectrum will provide a comprehensive range of services, including daily cleaning, sanitary services, laundry, window cleaning, and janitorial support.
Speaking about the additions to our client list in the North East, Spectrum’s managing director, Rebecca Bell, said:

“This has been a very exciting time for everyone at Spectrum, especially our Aberdeen team; the addition of any new contract or site is always good news, but adding thirteen at one time is a significant increase, one we welcome. It’s a tremendous reflection of the hard work our teams across the country have done with CBRE; our relationship with them continues to grow, and we thank them for the faith they have shown in Spectrum by awarding such a significant portfolio of their clients’ sites in the North East.
“It’s also a validation of the processes and meticulous planning procedures we have in place at Spectrum that we are able to onboard so many sites in such a short space of time. I’d like to express my thanks to the dedicated management team in Aberdeen, who have done a fantastic job of building relationships with the new clients and quickly getting up to speed with their specific requirements.”

Also delighted with the expansion of our service delivery in Aberdeen is Spectrum Regional Operations Manager Jennie McColl; she added:
“This is a really exciting time at Spectrum with so many great things happening, especially in the North. Getting to know clients and building strong working relationships is one of my favourite things about my role, so you can imagine how much I’ve enjoyed meeting new clients across these sites. So far, everyone has been enthused about our appointment, and all have been extremely supportive during the familiarisation period. I’m really looking forward to cementing these relationships and working with some great people who represent some globally leading brands in the future.”
