Stannah strengthens Lifts Distribution and Service (LD&S) Division

Stannah Lifts Distribution and Service (LD&S) has announced a series of important updates that reinforce our Maintenance and Repair (M&R) Division and Major Projects Division, ensuring we continue to deliver exceptional service and operational excellence across the UK.

New Branch Manager Appointments

Two talented colleagues are stepping into branch manager roles, further strengthening Stannah’s local leadership network across its branch network:

  • Birmingham Service Branch – Peter Bailey
Peter has been a valued member of the Birmingham Branch for nearly two decades, starting as a repair engineer before progressing to Field Repair Manager. Known for his technical expertise and commitment to service, Peter brings hands-on experience and proven leadership to his new role.
  • Orpington Service Branch – Beth Stannah
Beth’s career journey spans factory operations, design, marketing, and new lift sales—where she became one of the top performers. As part of the sixth generation of the Stannah family, Beth steps into a leadership role that blends the company’s proud heritage with forward-thinking ambition.

These appointments build on the recent introduction of two regional managers—Julie Dutton (South) and Andy Miller (North)—creating a structure that supports collaboration, consistency, and enhanced customer experience.

Dan White, Service Director, Maintenance & Repair Division commented: “I’m delighted to welcome Peter and Beth into their new roles. Their expertise and energy will be invaluable as we strengthen our local branch presence and leadership.”

Network Rail Department leadership and LIB transition

Stannah is also pleased to announce the appointment of Craig Wrightson as Network Rail Department Manager (NRD). In this role, Craig will lead the Network Rail department, focusing on driving operational excellence, deepening their partnership with Network Rail, and supporting the continued development of teams across the contract.

As part of this change, the London Infrastructure Branch (LIB) will formally transition back to the M&R division. This move reflects the progress made over the past 12 months and ensures LIB benefits from the broader infrastructure, resources, and support available across the network. Daniel Bond, London Infrastructure Branch Manager, will report to Julie Dutton, Regional Manager (South).

Dave Saunders, Head of Infrastructure, Major Projects Division commented: “I look forward to working closely with Craig and supporting him in his new role. Over the past 12 months, since the new contract was awarded, we’ve made significant progress in strengthening both LIB and NRD. Bringing LIB back into the branch network will enable it to benefit fully from the wider support, resources and stability the branch structure provides.”

Together, these changes reflect Stannah’s commitment to exceptional local service, enhanced customer experience, and sustainable growth.
