PTSG has appointed Leigh Daveran as Divisional Managing Director of its Building Access Specialists division, consolidating leadership across a division that the Group says is now among the UK’s largest providers of external façade cleaning, maintenance and roof and gutter services.
Leigh succeeds Malcolm Fyall, who will take responsibility for PTSG’s Access and Safety business, the company’s founding division. The appointments are intended to strengthen operational focus as PTSG continues to expand organically and through acquisition and integration.
Building Access Specialists brings together NSS, HD Sharman Group and Pendrich Height Services. The combined division gives PTSG a national footprint in façade maintenance and specialist access, with the capacity to deliver complex works across multi-site estates.
A key differentiator, the Group said, is the integration of HD Sharman’s in-house manufacturing and training facilities, adding roof and gutter refurbishment systems to PTSG’s service offer. Product lines include Delcote roof coating, Delglaze rooflight coating, Seamsil cut edge corrosion protection, alongside gutter refurbishment systems such as Plygene Gutterline and Delcote GS.
Greg Ward, Chief Executive Officer of PTSG, said: “Leigh’s appointment reflects the scale and ambition of Building Access Specialists. We have combined national façade capability with a portfolio of world-leading roof and gutter refurbishment systems, manufactured in-house. That creates a more complete, end-to-end proposition for customers, from access and maintenance to protection and renewal of the building envelope. Leigh brings the operational discipline and integration experience to accelerate this advantage.”
Leigh joined HD Sharman in September 2024 to manage the business and lead its sale process, which culminated in its acquisition by PTSG in June 2025, then formally becoming Managing Director. In 2025, Leigh has HD Sharman to deliver 16% revenue growth and 30% EBITDA growth.
He brings 25 years of M&A experience including 13 years leading private-equity-backed manufacturing groups on buy-and-build platforms, predominantly in building products and related services.
Commenting on his appointment, Leigh said: “This division has a rare combination of scale, technical depth and product capability. The opportunity now is to integrate those strengths fully and deliver a consistent, high-performance and unique offering to customers nationwide. I’m looking forward to working with the teams across NSS, HD Sharman and Pendrich to build a market-leading platform for growth.”
PTSG operates across building compliance and specialist services, including façade maintenance, access solutions, fire, water treatment and electrical compliance. The Group has pursued a buy-and-build strategy, integrating acquisitions to expand both service breadth and recurring revenues.
