Premier Technical Services Group has secured a contract to install lightning protection systems at London Square’s 559-home Crayford development in south-east London.
The FTSE-listed specialist services provider’s Lightning Protection Installations Division will design and install new systems across the brownfield regeneration project on Maxim Road, providing protection for residents and the site infrastructure.
London Square is delivering the scheme – valued at around £180 million – on a former industrial site. The development comprises homes for private sale, shared ownership and social rent.
Planning permission was granted by the London Borough of Bexley. The project includes creating a new riverside walk along the River Cray and providing new walking and cycling routes.
PTSG said it is the UK’s leading provider of power earthing and lightning protection services, covering design, installation, testing, inspection and maintenance of lightning protection, surge protection and earthing systems.
The group employs over 3,000 people across five specialist divisions – Access & Safety, Electrical Services, Building Access Specialists, Fire Solutions and Water Treatment – serving more than 30,000 customers nationwide.
