PTSG Secures Fire Safety Services Contract with Norfolk County Council

Premier Technical Services Group (PTSG) has been awarded a contract by Norfolk County Council to deliver specialist fire safety services across the local authority’s extensive property estate.

Under the agreement, PTSG’s specialist division System Hygienics will provide accredited inspection, maintenance and compliance services for fire doors and associated fire safety systems across a diverse range of council-owned sites. These include offices, schools, community facilities and care settings serving more than 900,000 residents in Norfolk.

A key element of the work will be ensuring all fire doors meet current legislative requirements and best-practice standards. In addition, System Hygienics engineers will carry out specialist vent cleaning designed to reduce the risk of smoke spread in the event of a fire, supporting the council’s broader health and safety obligations.

Project delivery will be carefully coordinated to minimise any impact on the day-to-day operation of the council’s estate. PTSG will use digital reporting and evidence-based record keeping to provide transparency and enable Norfolk County Council to monitor compliance and performance effectively.
