PTSG Secures Passive Fire Safety Contract at St Helier Hospital

Premier Technical Services Group Ltd (PTSG), through its specialist fire division Indepth Services, has been appointed to deliver passive fire safety services at St Helier Hospital in the London Borough of Sutton.

The contract will see Indepth engineers undertake detailed inspections of fire dampers across the hospital estate, with work now underway and scheduled to continue through to the end of February. The project forms part of the hospital’s ongoing compliance and safety programme, ensuring critical passive fire systems continue to perform effectively in a busy, live healthcare environment.

St Helier Hospital, formally known as St Helier Hospital and Queen Mary’s Hospital for Children, is operated by Epsom and St Helier University Hospitals NHS Trust alongside Epsom Hospital. The site provides a full range of acute and specialist services, including a 24-hour emergency department, the South-West Renal and Transplantation Service, and a dedicated children’s hospital. The hospital also serves as a major teaching site for St George’s, University of London.
