Premier Technical Services Group Ltd (PTSG) has been appointed to deliver specialist passive fire protection services for Platform Housing Group, one of the UK’s largest housing associations, through its constituent company Neo.
Platform Housing Group manages a significant portfolio of affordable homes across the Midlands. The works will be undertaken within occupied residential properties, requiring a delivery model that prioritises resident safety, clear communication and minimal disruption.
Neo’s engineers are experienced in working in live housing environments and will deliver the programme in line with established safeguarding protocols, with particular attention given to vulnerable residents. Careful planning and resident engagement form a core part of the approach, ensuring access is managed effectively and works are completed safely and efficiently.
The contract will see Neo provide compliant installation and assessment services for passive fire protection assets, drawing on its accredited technical competence, including FIRAS and BM Trada certification. These accreditations ensure that composite fire doors are installed to tested specifications and fully evidenced as compliant with current regulations.
In addition to technical delivery, Neo’s teams will manage resident communications, appointment scheduling and on-site engagement, supporting tenants throughout the works programme. Health and safety management remains a central focus, particularly in occupied dwellings where multiple risk factors must be carefully controlled.
The appointment reflects PTSG’s continued expansion in the social housing sector and its focus on delivering high-quality, compliance-led fire safety services at scale.
