The National Federation of Builders has launched a new online Member Directory, designed to increase visibility for member businesses and strengthen connections across the construction sector.
Available via the NFB website, the directory allows clients, consumers, councils and other stakeholders to search for trusted NFB members by location, project type and area of specialism. Members can showcase their business with a full profile, including company logo, contact details, types of work undertaken and the geographic areas they cover.
The directory also highlights specialist accreditations, such as the Heritage Approved Contractor Mark, giving users added confidence when selecting a contractor and providing members with a clear way to demonstrate their expertise.
Sean Houlston, Associate Director of Membership at the National Federation of Builders, said: “One of the NFB’s core values is being personal. That means not just supporting members individually, but actively connecting them with opportunities, clients and each other. The new Member Directory is a practical example of that in action. It gives our members greater visibility, helps raise standards across the industry, and makes it easier for clients to find professional, trusted builders in their area.”
The service forms part of the NFB’s wider commitment to delivering a more personal membership experience, strengthening member to member networking, and supporting business growth through trusted professional services.
Members can access and manage their directory listing through their online dashboard, with full control over what information is displayed publicly. Support is available from the NFB Membership Services team to help members set up or optimise their profile.
The Member Directory is now live at www.builders.org.uk/members-directory and members can watch a guide on how to update their profile at here.
