Gleeds is launching a new Built Asset Solutions service, bringing together the business’ multi-faceted facilities management and building surveying capabilities.
It aims to be a one-stop solution, using the latest digital technology and over half a decade of experience to deliver cost savings and improve management processes to a new and existing client base that includes names like Walgreens Boots, Hutch Group and the Defence Infrastructure Organisation.
The service line will see Gleeds integrate its retrofit and decarbonisation, geomatics, building consultancy and facilities management teams to deliver a more efficient, agile offering to clients across the globe. It will focus on providing effective strategic consultancy, combining technical expertise with digital innovation in order optimise the performance of built assets over their life cycle. With ambitious plans to grow, the business unit aims to double in size to £25m over the next four years, with an increase in headcount of 100 individuals.
Scott Kenna, Head of Built Asset Solutions, Gleeds, said: “The formal launch of Built Asset Solutions represents the culmination of considerable work behind the scenes, integrating a number of Gleeds’ experienced teams into one co-ordinated advisory service. This collaborative approach will allow us to deliver whole-life thinking when it comes to built assets – with clients benefitting from expert decision-making support, actionable insights from digital-first enablement, and of course Gleeds’ global footprint and heritage.”
“By bringing these specialisms together, we’ll be able to help asset owners to better understand, manage, and extend the life of their estates, reducing risk, unlocking value, and supporting long-term resilience through technical excellence, digital insight, and strategic foresight,” he went on to add.
The BAS offer is already expanding into new territories beyond the UK, including Europe and the Middle East.
