The Business & Industry division at OCS have co-ordinated a charity raffle to raise money to help its communities.
Colleagues presented three charities with donations. Mind, a mental health charity empowering people experiencing a mental health problem, were given £500 by Barry Knight, Regional Operations Manager.
Grace House North-East Children’s Hospice, who provide short break and respite care for children and young people were presented with £300 by Julie Davies, Operations Manager and David Greenwood, Relief Manager.
The PSDA, who care for sick and injured pets were also presented with £200 by Tracy Hixson, Head of Project Portfolio. The PDSA’s fundraising team said “These funds will go towards helping our vets treat the pets we see in our hospitals. The money you have donated will help pay towards 10 days’ worth of oxygen, 5 life-saving drips and 5 full courses of antibiotics used during surgery at our 48 Pet Hospitals.”
