Aberdeen City Council has awarded Richard Irvin FM UK a facilities management contract with a total annual value estimated at £500k. Under the contract, RIFM will provide gas heating and appliances services to sheltered housing and amenity housing suitable for older or disabled people to live full and independent lives in their own homes for as long as possible. The council’s property portfolio includes retirement housing, self-contained flats and bungalows.
Richard Irvin FM has been working with Aberdeen City Council for many years. This new contract, estimated at £0.5m pa, expands the Air Conditioning and Mechanical works currently being provided to the Public Buildings. Three additional members of staff have been transferred to complement the existing team, and support delivery.
