The IT Services business of NG Bailey has launched a new apprenticeship program designed to help train the next generation of talent who will support the UK’s transition to the latest digital connectivity, including 5G, Unified Communications, Structured cabling, WiFi and Data networking technologies.

The new apprenticeship scheme, which launches this week, will be the first scheme run by the IT Services arm of NG Bailey, the country’s largest independent engineering and services business, in over a decade. It follows the wider Group’s success in developing the talent of tomorrow across its other business areas, having trained over 5,700 people, across nine decades.

The apprenticeship scheme includes both Cabling and Digital Technical Solutions pathways, which will be delivered in partnership with Dudley College and Staffordshire University respectively.
