Success for ISS as two entries shortlisted as finalists in PFM Partnership Awards 2022

ISS has been shortlisted for two PFM Partnership Awards 2022 in the “Partners in Sustainability” and “Partners in Cleaning – Large Estates” categories for partnerships with BEIS (Department for Business, Energy and Industrial Strategy) and Santander respectively.

Recognising the essential requirement of forging effective partnerships has been at the heart of the PFM Partnership Awards throughout its long history. These Awards focus on rewarding the very best examples of effective partnerships through its independent judging panel.

Shortlisted in the “Partners in Cleaning – Large Estates” category, ISS’s Cleaning team at Santander was recognised for its ability to create a new vision for the cleaning service when the daily footfall reduced from 15,000 people to 2,500 people during the pandemic.

Shortlisted in the “Partners in Sustainability” category, ISS has been recognised for supporting BEIS on their journey to net-zero and achieving their GGC targets through ongoing improvements including behavioural changes, decarbonisation projects, technology-driven optimisation projects, Green Travel Plans and biodiversity strategies.

This year saw the highest number of entries received than for the last six years, providing those named as finalists with even more cause to celebrate their success.

Winners will be announced at the PFM Partnership Awards ceremony on 2 November 2022.

Liz Benison, CEO at ISS UK & Ireland, commented:
“We are extremely proud to have been shortlisted in two categories for the PFM Partnership Awards. These awards are extra special, because we pride ourselves on developing strong partnerships with our clients and are continuously striving to achieve great things together with our customers. We await the final results in November with keen anticipation!”

Dennis Flower, Editor at PFM Magazine, said:
“PFM commends ISS for their success in being shortlisted for two 2022 PFM Partnership Awards. The PFM Partnership Awards celebrate their 29th this year and continue to promote all the very best examples of collaborative working and the high value that this brings throughout the extensive FM industry. This year we saw increases in both numbers and quality of entries, and this is providing further proof of the considerable value that everyone in FM has added to our society during the pandemic.”
